How much I dislike the LJ system?

Lots.

I am sure it's fine for some people, but I personally find most of the "community" building stuff insipid. Friends only posts? Get a grip, grow some balls. Either put it on a blog or don't but stop pretending. It's like trying to commit suicide but making sure everyone knows how angst ridden you are.

The minute I have to >LOG THE F IN< to read your posts the odds of me bothering to do so drop dramtically.

Unless of course you have some uber-cool weblog other than LJ. Then I'll probably think it's cool and intimate...

Maybe I just hate sharing a server with 5.5 million whining ex-goths busily typing in the parts of their "poetry" they can still read under all the snot and flem that covers the notebook from the last time they OD on X at a Marylin Manson concert. And by concert I mean watching him on VH1 and holding a lighter over their head.

Even now, they are posting. It makes my skin crawl.

Now go read my real blog and stop being such a pussy :)

This is one of the LJ accounts I have had over the years, from before the time I started blogging exclusively on my own site. Apparently, a LJ syndication account also tracks my site - though I don't have access to change it for some reason.

Anyway, this account is mostly here for the "friends" listing functions, so don't expect much and read my primary blog for information.

Ok... both tanks done, and the fish are all back in. I know, I know, your supposed to wait... but the tap water tests OK on p.h. and other stuff and the >much< they were swimming in in the holding tanks could NOT have been healthy for 'em.

Little tank all done, filtering....

Finished siphoning the big tank into the holding tank... fish transfer in progress.

Went to the pet store a few hours ago, dropped money I don;t have on a new filter for the big tank, and sand and so on for Kimiko's tank.

At this point, all Kimi's fish are in their temoporary bowl, and the tank is cleaned out. All the sand and rocks went into the backyard :) The new sand is in and settled... time to add the rocks.
